Vulture, an ancient extinct volcano, represents the "Genius loci" for the “Aglianico del Vulture” vine. In fact it has determined a good part of those intrinsic pedological characteristics of the territory, that together with favourable climatic conditions, allows the full expression of the oenological potentialities of the noble vine. The fascinating landscape, characterized by the vineyards and dominated by the volcano and its seven tops, offers interesting itineraries to discover abbeys, castles, cities of art, hamlets and natural beauties.
